My 6 year old PC has finally died, and I'm looking to get a replacement.

I've got about £700 budget - 16GB RAM and SSD is compulsory. I don't need a monitor, and 2nd drive (all my datas on external).

I was thinking Palicomp, Mesh or an equivalent. But happy to go with Dell or larger supplier too.

Any suggestions? I'm hoping someone has bought a PC recently and had a good experience with it.

Chilli blast also very good.

I would look for a k series i7 with good cooling and overclock it for a very speedy system.

Thanks @Brazo , I had a look at Chill Blast's website - their Photo Editing PC's start from £1099.

@neil_g, I'll be using Photoshop and Adobe Bridge mainly.

You don't need anything mega powerful for PS.

Not had a PC in ages but Novatech were always pretty decent value, I used to use them as they're not too far down the road.

They do a pretty nicely specced Graphics Workstation around your budget:

Of course all their other PC's will happily edit photos too :thumb:

Those pc's whilst a nice spec are simply a marketing exercise
