I am going to York this Thursday with the family, and I will taking my Fuji XF1. Can't believe I am taking my big old heavy DSLR as a back up camera! Just that the battery life that the little XF1 has is very poor, well after all it's only a tiny little powered battery. Or maybe I should dig out my old Canon Powershot as a back up to the Fuji !

Log onto a well known auction site and you'll probably find a battery for not much money.

I'm not completely happy with battery life but it's the price we pay for having very small cameras with lots of power hungry features.

I hope you enjoy your day :D

Yes seen loads going for silly cheap prices, was tempted but not sure if they could be fake!

Been out in town today and I took the little fuji XF1 with me, lovely little camera and yes it does produce some lovely images. It was a bright sunny day, and I really did struggle to see the LCD screen. I just could not see the screen at all, when I got home and looked at the images, most were over exposed. It was not the Cameras fault, it was my fault because I could not see the exposure.

So with that in mind, I will take my old and trusty DSLR to York with me, well it does have a viewfinder. Besides it will be fun getting out the old Nikon again, and looking through that lovely optical view finder.

I also hope I do enjoy the day, cheers :)

I always find my xf1 exposes pretty much bang on and it always chooses the correct WB which is more than can be said of my d7000...

And my battery is no where near as poor as you state either... but, if ex-pro make a version for the xf then pick it up as they're top stuff.
