Photo 52 - Week 08

First impressions are pretty good, althought not got a clue what I'm gonna shoot

I like the sound of this one.

It could be a lot worse... Hmmm

Woah. This is a head scratcher! Might have revisit an old shot for this one.

Pi** myself laughing :lol: well better get out and about on the farm this week and see what crappy pictures I come up with this week :thinking:

:thumbs:just need to find something to take to bits now ooooohhhh and catch up on week 7

Haha, nice! I'm a mechanical engineer on heavy plant - looks like I'll be taking my camera to work this week and taking a few shots of the big toys I get to play with :D This makes up for the fact I didn't get last weeks done because I couldn't find any enthusiasm for the subject :(

OK . . . who picked this one for the hat???

Absolutely no idea at the moment, but could be interesting . . . read challenging.
My resolution this week is to go for a straight photo with minimal PP - 4 out of the last 7 weeks have had quite a bit of photoshoppery, and I don't want to get too dependent on it . . . but I'm a bit stuck for ideas right now !

ouch.

really not got a clue on this and i've been thinking for 10 mins or so now!! :(

If anyone lives near me we have tractors, combines, diggers etc all of which do not interest me at all, I only drive them, but you are very welcome to visit

Depending where you are in South Wales, how about a trip to the steel foundrys in Cardiff. I've done work there in the past and they have all manor of mechanical gubbins that you can see from the roads etc. I recon they would look good lit up at night too, pity its so far away from here.

Just an idea

Great theme, got people thinking  bring on week 8 :)

oh yes. Saw this literally a minute ago - have the idea and the shot already!

Tempted to do it now, but I think the better half would kill me if got the camera out now!

As a Mechanical engineer I should find this weeks theme easy but not feeling confident of capturing a good picture:(

nice one for me.....live near JCB Rocester.....they have a really cool sculpture made from digger parts....looks like that is where i will be heading....

Mmmmmmm.............

Lots of scope in this one! No ideas what to do yet though.

you've just given me my idea for my shot. For that, I thank you very much!! I'd been struggling to think of something!!

First thought - help, then remembered I work less than 5 mins from the Museum of Science and Industry. If I can't find something in there then I never will. May take a few lunchtimes but I'll be glad to get out of the office too.

 Hi everyone,
It seems I have picked a good week to join in the 52 photo challenge

Funny you should say that.
We live just outside of Cardiff and I mentioned this theme to my OH. He suggested the exact same thing

Hi Lizbeth and welcome to the mad house!
Looking forward to seeing your first entry.

I've got mine done, but I won't post it up yet. It's what I thought I'd go for, but having checked it fits nicely.

Welcome aboard Liz.

When this came out of the hat my heart sank, but now I've pushed myself a bit it's become my favourite shot of the year. That's why I took on a 52. :)
