Pfixer / midi board for LR editing

Does anyone use this combo for editing in LR? Seems to be quite popular, but wanted to also ask how comfortable it is to use for long edits etc?

I like the idea of using sliders to adjust things though so would be keen to hear from those that use it and pros/cons.

Ive also been looking into doing something like this, looking at the Pfixer website the board seems to be a Behringer BCF-2000 which you can pick up 2nd hand on ebay for about £150, then you can use Paddy for Lightroom https://sites.google.com/site/dorfl68/ which is donationware

Well picked myself up a used bcf2000 off eBay for £120 and just managed to get it roughly setup and working, off to the War and Peace show tomorrow so hopefully will have a set of images I can have a go at editing with it, I'll let you all know how it goes, but I'm guessing my settings will probably need lots of tweaking before I'm happy with it
