Perspective

I am using elements 9 and would like to use the perspective tool in image but I cant find how to actually get into it to use it because it is not highlighted. Please ask more questions if I am not making sense

I don't know elements 9 but sometimes if a tool is not selected and you make a copy of the layer it will work on that as the original one is "locked"

Thank you that did happen, but when I tried to use it it said "could not transform because the initial bounding rectangle is empty"

Hey, I did it. New layer (like you said) I flatten the image, opened the background and perspective was available. Now I can do my scewwiff (spelling??) writing I was after. Thank you so much Christine, that helped after all my trail and errors lol.
