It's not something I'm asked to do very often at all and so I wondered if anybody else here has done much personal injury work? It's pretty straightforward fare but not something I've advertised... could be a mini niche?

Is that for people claiming other people's money when they have an accident through their own stupidity?

Lord knows they'll be able to afford to pay for your services...

Aye, I've been told that too. I'm modest with my quoting as ever.. arrgh.

Hi
I know someone who took photos of injuries following apparent rough handling by BT police. When the claimant went to his solicitor he requested the photographer gave evidence in court as to the time date and place the ‘photos were taken. If you were to offer this service you might want to consider if the images would be considered evidence in their own right or if you might become a “witness” in some form as this could make it more trouble than there worth.
If you want a niche how about macro photos of Jewellery and similar items especially those items with serial numbers. Kept in a safe such ‘photos could help with truculent insurance companies in the event of burglary, fire or other loss. Just a thought.

Pah.. ambulance chasers we aren't.. but if there is work for us that we can justify then more power to us.

Me however I'm just doing it on behalf of someone and have some sample documentation I've found online that might come in handy regarding the legal side of it and perhaps the nature of the injury too. That and if I have a statement from the solicitor or an agreement regarding usage and involvement. For want of better phrasing.

I've felt like personally injuring somebody recently then photographing the events after for my own satisfaction! Does that count?
