What's required to gain access to some of the photo shopping areas? I keep getting access denied. Thanks in advance.

you haven't been here long enough, there was a spat of people signing up to buy then buggering off that left loads of dead accounts so the mods made a 100 posts and 30 days rule

as David says, I also found this out when I joined, best way is to get involved with the subsections, I try to, although I'm no expert.
 
Say hello to a few new people, post a few questions/answers and you'll be really surprised how quickly the time flies.

Current minimum membership criteria : 30 days membership and 100 posts

You can buy without meeting the above criteria, however you can't sell or post a wanted advert.
