No
This could be a long explanation - but the simple version is...

can I gradually change Permajet ink running through an Epson R2880 over from their K-Chrome range to the more current Image Life ink? Is it chemically and colour similar or a completely different composition?

It's uneconomic to change all in one go without waste.

Actually did get an answer from Permajet today, their answer is no. It's an answer I expected so I guess the only true way to find out would be to do it but that's not my plan.

What's the benefit??
I have an Epson 3880 and hope to change soon from OEM carts to Fotospeed refillable carts which I have already purchased but still deciding on the ink supplier.....at the moment it's look like K3 inks from Ink Express unless you can convince me that Permajet is better
Thanks
Dave

Image Life are a later generation than K chrome, meant to give improved results, tonal range, saturation, tones in mono. Not sure how noticeable this would be or if the chemistry is significantly different. The Permajet CiSS is meant to be one of the better kits out there although Fotospeed have a good reputation.

Thanks for the info. I will look into Permajet inks before taking the leap
