Hi all.

I am a bit new to printing my pictures but I am now wanting to plaster my walls!!!

I was wondering what the permajet range of papers are like? how do they compare with the likes of ilford.
also, has anyone tried the octoink range of replacement bulk ink?

thanks for any help.

Ben.:)

I haven't used Permajet paper but I do use Image Specialists pigment ink. I do sometimes get this from Octoink. (Only place in UK I know of).

If your thinking of plastering the wall with prints, I can recommend Jessops 240gsm Satin, at buy two and get three it can't be beat for value.

I have a jessops not far from me so no delivery charges. I use Ilford papers for the good stuff.

Hi Ben,
I,ve used their fine art paper A3 size I must say I was very impressed
thinking of trying some others on the strength of it.

Alan.

Used there bog standard gloss/satin as well as some of their FB papers and have no complaints.

I tend to only buy paper when it's on offer rather than stick to a particular brand.

I use quite a few Permajet papers* and find they are excellent. I also use a PJ CIS with their ImageLife inks in my Epson R2880 and am very happy with that too. Tech support is very good indeed.
