Some people really do not have a clue about specific community sites and making contacts - specifically flickr.
Now stop me if I am wrong but the premise behind flickr is to do with photography right? If you want to take part in the community and make contacts then that (to me) is clearly through joining in the groups and crossover critique commenting on people photographs.
I get this stupid cow add me, and she asks me if i want my horoscope read - after replying "no thanks, i don't believe in that stuff" she says "...i have to respect that, but i can't have you as a contact.."
WTF?
oh well, these things put a bit of interest into the day
