I've recently noticed that depending on which lens I'm using the number of shots that are acceptably in focus changes...
I took to using the DEBUG mode that can be set on the Pentax K10D and with a rudimentary focus chart saw that I had to set the following values for focus correction:
Pentax 40mm f2.8 ltd - @f2.8 = +120um
Pentax 18-55 f3.5-5.6 - @ 35mm & f4.0 = +60um
Sigma 55-200 f4-5.6 - @ 100mm = -60um
Is this unusual and is there anything I can do about it? Or am I best resetting the correction when I change lens - which tbh isn't that much of a ball-ache.
Thoughts please...
