Pentacon 1.8/50mm for canon any good?

Hi

I have one and yes they are pretty good, though the manual focus is a pain :)

Could I compare it to the nifty, don't know to be honest. I would say it is pretty close if you ignore the AF. I tend to use mine on a bellows or with close up tubes for macro work.

I guess if you compare the £5 i paid for mine against £50-£60 then buy one and see what you get! :)

The canal and Hunt shots here were taken yesterday on a Pentacon 50mm f1.8 so see what you think,oh and it cost me £12 and manual focusing is quick and easy with a lens like this
