Good afternoon ladies and gentleman

I am a scrooge... there we go, ive said it. I like money, and i dont like spending it!

I am in the market for a few new bits of kit at the moment and am looking for the cheapest prices in the UK.
im not looking to get anything from china as i have recently had problems with a lens supplied from there and its a nightmare getting it sorted!

I know i cant be the only looking for these items at the moment and was wondering if the TP family could lend me(and other members) some assistance by sharing.

i know a few people will mention Kerso, and ive heard good things about him. the thing is i dont want to waste his time finding out prices, so if you have experience of purchasing any of the below from him, please let us know how much you payed :)

i am looking to purchase the following...(some, not all! depending on price! :nuts:)

Canon Speedlite 580EX II

Canon Speedlite 430EX

Canon Speedlite ST-E2 Transmitter

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro

Just email him - his job is to sell the gear so will be happy to price for you even if you don't go ahead.

Added to that the fact that prices change from time to time dependant on stocks/demands etc that you'll only get a definative price direct from him.

hopefully kerso will come back with some good prices. i have checked out camerapricebuster.co.uk but have found its not the best site for price busting... but thanks any way :)

so now that the night shift are in... anybody else? :lol:
 
for the most upto date prices the best bet is google..
 
I got my ST-E2 from him last week and I'm not about to disclose the price but I will say I could not beat it.

He's great to deal with, that's my third purchase from him and for new kit I doubt you'll beat him for price and if you did it would almost certainly be a lot riskier.

I balance risk against price when buying anything on t'interweb and he's as close to risk free as you are going to get with all the recommendations on here.
 
Been googleing all weekend, to the point i think i have google blindness! thanks for the advice though.

I truely value other members oppinions and experiences of sellers and kit.

Have bought several items from Kerso, including the 580 flash. he was a lot cheaper than any others I could find (and trust) Payment by Paypal all very secure. Arrived next day as promised.
 
Spent thousands wi Kerso, saved hundreds. Absolutely the best if your arms are so short. He really is top.

from personal experiance i have found the best deals are often found through word of mouth. i.e. special offers with local suppliers, online promotionl codes etc...
 
i have had some top prices back from Ian(Kerso):thumbs:

now all i have to decide is what to buy...:thinking:
