Hi all,

Me and a mate have decided to pack an overnight bag and head for pembroke dock/milford haven coastline with our camera's this friday.

We have never been there before and was wondering if anyone had can recommend any landscape hotspots we could check out early hours Saturday morning...

We will obviously post our results afterwards.

thanks in advance.

I was in PDock (and the general area) last week...but not for photography purposes. If you're looking for inspiration, there are one or two locals on here, otherwise do a tag search on Pembrokeshire in Flikr, and you will be inundated with ideas. I can give you some Photostreams to follow, if needed.

Beautiful area (although I may be biased!).

Well im actully living in Pembrokeshire and its true what chewyuk has said, you dont need to go far for some amazing landscapes.

Im around the weekend so may be we could meet up and we could all tog together.

Bosherton lillyponds...got 2 nasty bite from a horse fly

Stack rocks...dont go in the dark or you might fall down one of the holes from cliff to sea

lol depends how you look at it

It was summer and i'm here cos i saw the holes luckerly

excellent. ive got a few excellent spots from ChewyUK.
All i need is a cheap B&B.

any reccomendations?

Your thinking of the old mine depot in Black Bridge near Milford Haven, dont think you can get in there any more as they have put a fence around it.

You could try the travelodge in Pembroke Dock

That's where I stayed last week - £19 for a family room! Clean, quiet and right next door to Asda, Tesco and Lidl, so something for everyone! Try Travelodge.co.uk.

Places to visit, St Davids cathedral, Solva harbour, Newgale, Stackpole, Manorbier castle, Barrafundle bay, Bosherton lakes, Broadhaven bay.

Should keep you busy. I visit that area often, tiss bliss with nice weather.

Stack rocks is epic with force 9 gale raging.

St. Anne's Head is worth adding to the list.
