Thought I would share this, bought a peli case and wanted the storage system for the lid. Thought that there were over priced and a bit limiting in use so thought up my own.
A piece of di-bond (plastic/aluminium laminate) laser cut and velcro'd into the lid space. A strap to fix my laptop in and bought some other containers for batteries etc. If I don't want the laptop in I can add other things into the lid that have velcro or can sit behind the strap. I think it has more flexibility of storage than the peli version.
I have a usb charger with 6 ports and usb AA charger and camera chargers, so could kit out the whole lid to be power and charging if needed, depending on the job.
I'm happy with it!! Will make transporting the kit easier!
