Too young to have seen him play, but for me will always be the best of all time.

Best wishes to his family and loved ones, film of him will I suppose be viewed forever by fans of the game.
 
What an astonishing player. One of the ones who just seemed like he was really enjoying himself. I think you see that in the very best in any sport.

I am not remotely interested in football, but that is sad.
 
I remember as a kid when Pele scored his 1000th goal, couldn't believe one player getting that many. Lucky enough to have seen the 1970 World Cup, no one could imagine trying to chip the keeper from the the halfway line. Then the dummy where the ball went one way and Pele ran round the other side of the defender.
Best player ever, RIP
 
One of the very, VERY few footballers I would recognise on the street and a true legend.
