Peak Design Capture clip on L bracket

I want to purchase the Peak Design L bracket, but want to use this in combination with my L bracket, is there anyway I can use the clip without buying a 3legged thing Ellie L bracket, as far i now this is the only compatible L bracket with the Capture clip. I was thinking can I use a longer bolt and place the Peak design quick release plate under my L bracket and attach these 2 directly on my camera.
anyone ideas ?
