PCs 'took selfies next to sisters' dead bodies'

I saw their mother being interviewed and she spoke of that!

A most dignified woman.

It beggars belief that police officers in the UK (or anywhere) could even consider/think that sort of activity/action is appropriate behaviour.

If correct as reported I hope and trust they will be sanctioned, tried and sacked with loss of all employment privileges they have accumulated!!!

Apart from being morally corrupt and possibly racist, these officers must be incredibly thick as well. Surely they’re in breach of their contracts by publishing photos revealing evidence from a live crime scene? Don’t they get taught this sort of thing in the first week at cadet school? Whatever, I hope they get their comeuppance over this, the police force is no place for these morons.

Such people are often known as a RUNT ..... Reject Unfit for Normal Training.
Some of them are completely unfit for normal training.

Agree about what I think trainee police officers must be taught, also how dumb do you have to be to share the photos and not think they will become public knowledge?

In my extensive experience with the police over the years, the average bobby isn't usually the sharpest tool in the box. The educational entry requirements for coppers are very basic reading, 'riting and 'rithmetic, not even GCSE level. The pay and conditions are pretty s***, let's be honest. So I don't think the police force attracts the brightest and finest from our society. No wonder then, that some will lack the basic intelligence to tell them that doing selfies with dead bodies isn't a good idea...

There needs to be a contract clause stating you lose these privileges if you're sacked for immoral acts.

If you have to be taught not to do something like this, you shouldn't be in the force. Instead training should weed out this kind of behaviour.
 
Didn't some bloke get arrested for taking photos of the Grenfell victims?
If so, why aren't these coppers in custody?

It's not... Have alook at all the stories of the brave policemen and women..... if you just home in on the few bad (they exist in anything.. police army navy anyhting) then you can come to a warped conclusion... the problem is the day to day work the police do isn't in the papers or the news every day.. every now and then a bad one pops up and people like you decide its the norm :(

In my experience, the majority of coppers aren't too bright. Sorry. I'm not saying they're all bad people, but far too many are not fit for the role, and there's some proper rotten scum in there. Often, in senior roles. I see police racism far too often, been the victim of it too many times. And sadly, things are going backwards.

Yes people like you... you see a few bad apples and then tar the whole police force with the same brush.. although I notice AFTER I said that BEFORE you quote it that you did some back peddling and said they arn't all bad ..... so my owrk here is done :)
