I've tried a quick search but can't seem to find what I want. Is there a cheap bit of kit I can use that will create a PC sync socket for my Canon 420EZ flash.

I understand that I will have to use it in manual mode but that's not a problem

You can get adapters that fit the hot shoe of the flash and will give you a PC socket. I've got one but it's unbranded so I don't have a name. Check out Speed Graphic. I may have got it from them
