I have had a paypal account for yrs using it on ebay, but have not used it for over a year so i have no funds in the account, however if i wish to purchase something through my paypal account can i do so even though i have no funds in the account, i just wondered if it is transfered straight from my bank details which are setup on paypal.

does that make sense?..:bonk:

Yes, it does make sense and yes it does transfer straight out. I've never had funds set up

if your bank or credit card is linked to the accouint then yes..

when you buy somehting it will tell you on the screen where it is getting the money from.. i recently bought a lens for 750 quid.. i had 500 in paypal.. when i went to pay it showed me on screen where the other 250 was coming from...

if you chose your registered credit card instead of your account thne fees will apply. I have a totally seperate account to align with paypal so if the worst happens, i won't get wiped out by some fraudster type!
