Clicking the "Dispute Transaction" link will take you to another page that will either relieve you of private data and start to build a profile of you, or worse still install something horrible on your pc that you will never know is there...

Paypal 'official' emails are usually addressed to you by your registered Paypal user name. Anything addressed to you as 'Paypal' or Ebay Member' are not legit.

Yup, Paypal emails are ALWAYS addressed to you buy name.
Then again, I delete all paypal and ebay emails unless I'm expecting them, then personally navigate to the website myself via my browser, and log in, to check for activity.

I think that's the best advice for emails/phone calls, navigate to the site or ring a published number, and never reveal any personal details. Banks etc. never ask for passwords.

I would also forward emails loke this to Paypal/Ebay they may have a chance to do something about them then.

I did have a legit call from a call centre on time asking me to verify who I was with my Mothers Maiden name, I then spent the next 15 minutes asking the caller to verify who they were, which of course is hard for them to do, it was great fun....
