PAYG phone provider

I have been haveing problems with VF for over 8 weeks mast problems so they say.

I am now looking at a new provider ie VM any thoughts on following

1 Coverage of VM in London
2 How to unlock my phone (Been Told 3 weeks min to get code)
3 How to keep my number on another provider.
4 what is the Samsung Galaxy
Ace like ?

i want to be able to turn off internet

It shouldn't take that long to get an unlock code.

depending on your mobile you could get an instant unlock online for a few £

I have just moved from VF because of problems and constant lies, have moved over to GiffGaff who use the O2 network: http://giffgaff.com/

To keep your number you would have to ask VF for your PAC (port authorisation code), they can give this to you over the phone, your PAC will last for 30 days and must be used within that time frame or you will have to ask for a new one

You would then give your PAC to your new provider and it should take about a day to transfer your number to them
