I thought a bit of night time light painting on the local sea front would be nice for this, 69 seconds at f11, 28mm. Maglite 3D painted on the hands and some bike lights for the ions.

nice angles and good take on the theme :) looks like you have a good understanding of the technique too (one I have yet to try!)

might be worth while putting all your pics in the same thread though, rather than starting a new one for each week!
 
Great pic Paul and nice take on the theme of "new".

You've done well with this technique and I really like the detail you've got into the hands. For me you could do without the shiny thing (whatever it is:)). And perhaps make the hands a little brighter. Very nicely composed, but I feel there's a bit too much space top right.

Most people seem to be keeping their 52 all in one thread, which helps to keep things less cluttered, but hey the important thing is to keep posting.:thumbs:

Sorry ,I've managed to miss your 1st 3 weeks:bonk:

Lovely take on the theme ,great to see the detail in the hands .Sorry,but reaaly don't like those light things though .The space to the left makes me thnk the hands are waiting to catch something or reaching out to someone :thumbs:
