) so on theme.....I was wondering if a gritty mono converison might work as it may suit the feeling of the derelict building ?Thanks MandyCracking image I like that great start.
Good point Andy I think That I could maybe have chosen a different lens? Moved my position? Thanks for the feedbackWell spotted and on theme. I'd prefer either front on or mire if an angle. Looks a tad flat.
Yet smother local that bites the dust.
Good luck with week 1.
Cheers.
Thank you!Good start. Welcome on board!
Thanks Allen. The pub is on Parr Stocks Rd in St helens.Hi Paul,
A different angle might have been better as Andy has pointed out , but a good start
I am sure I know that pub too where is it?
Thanks Lynne. Never thought of converting it to mono! Good idea!Hi Paul
yup , Oddfellows ( what a strange name for a pub) so on theme.....I was wondering if a gritty mono converison might work as it may suit the feeling of the derelict building ?
Thanks Jason your right it doesn'tHi Paul.....Doesnt scream linear or line to me though that may just be me.....I like the photo more for the story it tells than for the treatment. Agree with Lynn here that a gritty mono would work best especially as the lighting is so flat
(This was my 'ODD' offering!)Thanks SusieHi Paul....I assumed it was for the 'odd' thread and thought it a great choiceas Jason says its an image that tells a story.
Thank you!...... Believe me when I tell you that for someone who did not know their BB codes from their URL ones it was an initiation by stress!Hi Paul
Odd - Now that was well spotted, fits the theme well, and well done getting the image posted already![]()
thanksMost odd - such a shame![]()
Thank youPaul, Good image, glad your sorted
The tree growing out of the chimney would have made a good 'odd' image on its own![]()
Thank you.On theme with the name of the (ex)pub. I think going in on this at a greater angle may have given more impact but that's just my take on it.

Without, as was the case last week annoying everyone (Mandy and Phil-D-) with trival questions about how to do it! So hopefully by the end of the year I should be able to do it with not to many problems (fingers crossed!}Thanks JudiI agree with the others on all points, well done love the donkeys.
