Password Problems - Please Help!!

Hi folks,

Not sure if there is much I can do about this, but if anyone will know - you lot will ;)

I have my own website, which is linked to below. It's a pixelpost one and has loads of my images on. I have not updated it in months and have recently decided to do so.

However, when i came to log on via the admin page, it is not accepting my username and password - which i thought were correct. I have used the FORGOT PASSWORD link to get them to send me an email, and even though it says they have sent one to my email address, nothing ever turns up.

Any ideas or am I building a new site from scratch????

FTP into it and change the config file :)
 
PS. If your username is Admin....dont forget the capital A...I do that all the time :D
 
nope - my username isn't admin luckily. How do I ftp into it? I normally use their interface to upload. Would I not need a password to get in via FTP?

I suppose you might be able to use their interface.
Connect as you would normally upload a file, and edit the pixelpost config file with the new admin account details? (Not sure if this is possible with pixelpost though)
 
update - I have managed to FTP into it - but still can't find the config file - getting somewhere now though ... I think ;)

Ok ... so far I have managed to FTP into it - but I am still unable to find the files that contain my username and password to edit them.

From reading the instructions again, it was originally a pixelpost.php file that stated the name and password. There is no longer any trace of this file!!!

Please help - this is driving me mad!!!!
