Well hello there.
I'm Gordon, I'm 26, I live in South London / Surrey and I'm trying rather hard not to make this introduction look like a sexy classified ad...
I did photography at AS level (well 6 months of the course anyway) where I used real cameras with film and a dark room - crazy!!
I've been meaning to get a DSLR for a couple of years now by never bothered spending the money. End of last year, I lost my mum and inherited her Nikon D60 which I've been getting to grips with in terms of functions in the last few weeks, so it;s now time for me to learn to take decent photos again...
I'm not sure what interests me the most atm, as I need to have a play across types of photography to see what i get on with.
In the next couple of weeks I'm going to be building a makeshift still life studio and getting some other bits (tripop parts, reflectors etc) so I can look into some portraits and landscapes too.
Anyway, that's me, and that's how my journey into Digital Photography is beginning
