Any help for parking not too far a walk away and where can you sit to photograph?
 
I'd sit behind the Newcastle goal... Because there'll be plenty action in and around their box :banana:

Hi Robin, I used to work at the stadium so I know a few good parking spots. Firstly try the Sheepfolds Industrial Estate - it's just opposite the stadium and there's a big plot of wasteland there used for free matchday parking. Get there really early though.

Failing that, and probably a better bet on derby day, on the other side of the bridge is the Echo 24 apartments and Sunderland Uni Buildings - plenty of free roadside parking down there and just a 5 min walk over the bridge to the stadium.

Hi Rob
When I use to go I always managed to get parked on the industrial estate opposite. AFAICR you can sit on three sides but not dugout side.

Sorry I've just seen this. I got a lift in as the parking is chaos on derby days with the industrial estate closed. We ended up parking in a housing estate just on the left as you head down to the stadium (at a set of traffic lights) and walked down. Hope you got sorted
