I have been on the lookout for a Leica Q as I missed the one I sold a while back and in my search I looked at quite a few ... eBay, MPB, WEX and Park Cameras.
Park had one marked as "Like New" and the price was very good in comparison to what I was seeing elsewhere. Of course "Like New" can mean different things to different people but I noticed the serial number appeared to be much later than all others I had seen (though I am unsure of the logic behind Leica serial numbers!).
Having made contact with Park and negotiated a 5% discount I bought the camera, after getting around my bank's over-zealous anti-fraud measures, (thanks for your patience Park), and waited for next-day delivery.
The package duly arrived, well packed, and the camera came with its iconic inner drawer section box, the silver outer box and even the original card transportation box!
All of the original accessories, bags and paperwork were in the box and for the most part, like the camera, appeared unused - the product card showed that it had come off of the production line late in January 2019, so I'm guessing must be one of the last original Q cameras to be produced, (the Q-P came out in November 2018 and the Q2 in March 2019).
It looks like it had only taken 497 shots (can't be absolutely sure but condition, circumstances and file numbering would indicate that).
The price was below all other good quality versions of the Q that I saw and I am so pleased with the value for money that I got from Park.
