What paper do you recommend for B+W prints please.
I'm thinking of getting an Epson R3000 so just planning ahead.
Thanks
Dave

Hi
My two favourites for black and whites are permajet classic fine art fibre base distinction 360 and innova fibaprint white semi matte.
If you can get there Focus on Imaging is a good place to go a lot of the different paper manufactures exhibit so you can check out the range of finishes for yourself. :)

Thanks Bob I'm going to FOI so will look out for the permajet stand. I use Innova Smooth Cotton High White and Fibaprint High gloss at the moment so will dig out the other Innova paper you suggest from my sample packs....can i ask what printer you use them on as I'm thinking of getting the Epson R3000
thanks again
Dave

ilford golf fibre silk or epson's own tradtional photopaper are the ones I like. they are slightly mottled while still retaining gloss. fotospeed will be at FOI so be worth while checking out their stand too.

Thanks Ross, fotospeed is on my list to visit also want to have a look at their refillable cartridge systems

I bought their refillable cartridge system for the Epson 2880 at the Societies' meetings in January. I'm very happy, lovely prints straight from the off and a lot less mucking about than the CIS. I also like their papers a lot. Platinum Baryta costs a bit but is gorgeous for those special prints. PF Lustre is good value I think.
