I have found out the hard way that colourama backdrops don't take long to get mucky when you have small children running all over them during shoots.

My question is would it look completely wrong and make it a b*tch to PP if I were to use the paper bg for the majority and then use a roll of vinyl that could be used for where the subjects will stand.

It makes more sense in my head but hopefully you understand what I mean.

thanks in advance,

David

Then you'd have a join between the two that would show up in some shots and you'd have to clone out...if you're just shooting on white, why not just use all white vinyl? See my post in suppliers and bargains for tony beal's contact details, theyll sort you out a big reel for about £80, better than the lastolite stuff too :)

The only concern that I had about that is that the support system that we are using only supports the rolls from each end and I thought the vinyl might be a little heavy.
