Pano Prints and Frames

Where can i get panoramic prints done in the UK at a good price. All i can find is Photobox so am restricted to 20"x8"

Also where can I get some pano frames made?

In theory you can get panoramic prints done anywhere, as long as you have a guillotine that's big enough or steady hands with a pair of scissors - just print at the target aspect ratio, but place a white border at the top and the bottom. I'm going to get some 18x8 shots printed out at DSCL for £1.10, just by choosing their 18x12 option.

As for frames, I'm not sure.

I actually did a similar trick recently - needed 2 pano's printing and actually copied both images onto a single background in CS4 - created a blank file that was at 75cm by 50cm, then opened the 2 pano's - copied and pasted onto the blank white background and resized with free transform until I was happy... sent the file off to Aldi for printing, and ended up with 2 x 75cm wide panoramas for just over a tenner

One option on frames is Ikea - they do a 3 shots side by side masked frame. Remove the mask and you've a 50x23 panoramic frame...

i used to have same problem but bought a large format printer to do my own

i may be able to help with frames though.......i use 36x12 and 42x12 at moment, my supplier supplies a large amount of shops and they are much better than the ikea stuff..........custom sizes are no probs and u can even have mounts cut tooo

i print my own panos and make my own frames could print and suply frames if you wanted
