Not sure if anyone has any ideas. When I moved back to the UK last year I bought with me a Panasonic Viera TV. As you may be aware broadcast frequencies are different between here and Aus so I was unable to receive TV on it. After asking Panasonic only to be informed this was a hardware issue, I overcame the problem by buying a cheap free view box and using that as a receiver. 2 remotes are a small price to pay compared to the cost of a new TV

Unfortunately though the app marketplace on the TV contains only Australian apps. I'm unable to download iPlayer, All 4, ITV Hub etc. I'm hoping to find a more elegant solution tho this then plugging a laptop into the TV and watching that way. Any ideas how to find a UK market place. Im a bit stuck. There doesn't seem to be a region setting buried deep in the menus
 
We have a Panasonic Viera too, about 4 years old now.
Not sure how old yours is, but support for ours pretty well ended when it hit 2 years old. The only catch-up or streaming services we still have are iPlayer and Netflix, everything else disappeared and is not on the app marketplace.

We use a Chromecast to watch anything on ITV hub, All4, Prime or Disney+. Will definitely be looking into long term support when we eventually replace it.
 
We also have a Viera with Freeview.

Also used with our Amazon Firestick, which I now have the yet to be 'installed' Firestick 4k.

Furthermore we have our TVonics PVR with has Freeview HD on it so we can watch the terrestrial HD channels (BBC, ITV, Channels 4&5). TVonics went bust done years back, so the last current brand I recall is Humax.....though no idea if they make one like the one we have.
 
I would just forget the apps on the TV and buy a firestick or similar for the best app support.
I have an nvidea shield they are expensive but run everything.
 
I'll second the use of the Firestick. Our Viera is just over 2 years old and updating the apps listed on the TV is hopeless.

I carried out a firmware update about 3 months ago and since then the TV only shows the thumbnails of images from my Synology NAS. According to Panasonic there's no way to rectify this or even revert to the previous firmware :(
