Afternoon all,
Would like some feedback on the above lens, would be on a Panasonic GX1 body?
Pros?
Cons?

Also, what do you think would be a realistic secondhand value for one in excellent condition complete with box, hood and pouch?

Thanks

Cant answer on your camera but i have a loan unit and think i may keep it.

May I ask what it would cost for you to keep yours,as a comparison?

I cant tell you,the shop owner is away and one of his staff let me take it,its priced at £199 but i would want it cheaper.

Consider the 45-200mm mega OIS too, I got one of these from the forum for £110 and am very pleased with it.
It also goes with my GX1 well, but sits on my G3 most of the time.
The 45-175mm tends to fetch a little more than the 45-200mm, but not much difference.
Also the 45-150mm is well thought of and is cheaper still.

I did consider the 45-200mm,but reviews look like they favour the 45-175mm?

On the eBay brand new for £183 Delivered, probably an import though?

It doesn't really matter if it's an import (unless you have high moral standards) as with cheap lenses it will cost more to fix than replace anyway.

Yes, it does have better reviews, but not on the GX1. Reports of it suffering from shutter shock effects in the 1/100-1/200 shutter speed range. This lens really works better with cameras with an electronic shutter, or at faster than 1/320 shutter speeds if you use mechanical shutter like that in the GX1.
I haven't tried it on either of my Pannies, but never had that with the 45-200mm.

Thanks for the feedback!
Can you provide me any images you've taken with the 45-200mm?

Yep, no problem, they are all HERE well most of them!
