Panasonic GF5 with power zoom for £250

I have been looking for a GF3 or GF5 for a while so have been keeping an eye on the prices and noticed that last week Wilkinsons Cameras dropped the price of the GF5 kit with the power zoom down to £299 which is about £160 less than on WHE. I was about to pull the trigger on one but checked eBay first and am glad I did as they had he same kit on their eBay shop for £249.99. I placed an order on Sunday evening, it shipped yesterday and has just arrived (now the wait for the battery to charge). So far so good. With the power zoom it is a very small set up (not much bigger than a compact), easily fits in a coat pocket. It is very easy in use and all controls can be got to very quickly despite the lack of physical controls compared to the GF1. Only used it for shots of the kids so far and a few test shots but it seems to be coping fine and giving decent results. The power zoom is excellent for shooting video as it allows for smooth zooming during recording.
 
Thanks for the info Peter. It seems like a pretty good deal at Wilkinson Cameras for a camera I probably would not have considered until I saw this. I recently purchased a G1X and the quality of images is superb, but the camera is just that little too bulky for pocket use. I was therefore looking at the LX7 to replace my aging S95, but this seems like a good option as a pocket camera with of course a bigger sensor than the LX7, and will allow for experimentation with other M43 lenses such as the Oly 45mm and Panny 20mm primes.
