Hi, thinking of getting a beidge or compact superzoom type camera and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on any of these two. The fz330 is £100+ more expensive but is it that much better. Any info on these or similar would be much appreciated.

I have the TZ80 and, much as it is a great point and shoot travel camera in good light, I think upping the resolution to 18mp is pushing it too far. I have previously owned an FZ200 and, in my opinion, that was better at anything above ISO400. That said, if you're going somewhere sunny and having a small camera is important, the TZ80 does a good job. If it was to be my only camera though I think I would opt for the FX330.

I've got an FZ200 - and so rate it very highly. I've also got a v lux 30 (similar to the tx80?) and again - fz200 Bears hands down. So yes - fz330 all the way for me!

Got the fz300/330 and had the tz80, fz300 all the way tz80 I got rid of after a week, I found iq very poor the fz an excellent camera
