Anyone else currently experiencing delays on orders from Panamoz? I ordered from them about 3 weeks ago, and though Panamoz has been pro-active with apologies (and compensation) they say that flights out of HK are delayed. Still no sign of my stuff. :(

yes also waiting but only ordered on Thursday so wasnt expecting anything yet as i know they have changed shipping expectations to 7-14 days. reading your post is a cause for concern though.

Had a camera recently from them took about 8 days total. 6 working days.

Hong Kong are in the middle? of a third wave of new cases:

Up to 100 new cases a day, which proportionally is getting on for twice as bad as the UK.
That said, there do appear to be daily flights (judging by the BA website).

ETA: Scrub that. The new cases are 1/10th that of the UK.
However, I'm with Moz on the fact that the flight numbers are most likely heavily reduced.

I just took delivery of a new lens from e-infinity. Previously have taken up to 2 weeks but this time was nearer 3 weeks. Only to be expected as others have pointed out the global issues these days. Be patient mate, it’ll soon be with you

Yes, I was suspecting it would be the current universal excuse/reason to do with fewer flights. As others have said, both they and E-Infin are usually quite quick.

I don't get the whole slow shipping either at our place were still sending stuff around the world next day.

I placed an order late Friday night.
Received tracking details on Monday.
Latest is saying it has been picked up by FedEx and will be with me this Monday by 6pm.
That would be 6 working days...fingers crossed.

I ordered a A7R iv from e-infinity last Thursday evening - it was delivered this morning.
I reckon that’s 4 working days.

Still waiting :(

Not just Panamoz, it's been 4 days since I posted and item RMSD and it's still showing just "We have it..." ... annoying!

What does your tracking details say?
DPD say "We are still awaiting your parcel". I have emailed them a few times and they have promptly replied and given compensation. (up to £130 so far). They say it is still awaiting a delayed flight out. Maybe different makes of camera stuff goes from different suppliers.

That is a bit odd.
I ordered late Friday evening which would be Saturday in HK.
I received a tracking email on Monday but when I checked it, it said awaiting parcel. That changed on Tuesday to say the parcel had been collected, and expected delivery date given was by 6pm on Mon 7th Dec.

Update to this. I decided to cancel, and emailed them to this effect. They replied almost immediately, and said they would process my refund straight away; however they could, if I wished, send a replacement out to me direct via UPS, by-passing their UK facility. I think they suspected the package had gone missing between HK and the UK. 2 hours later I had a UPS tracking number. Fingers crossed!

Yeah seems like you have just had one of those bad experiences. But panamoz is responsive so I feel you'll either get your camera (eventually!!) Or yours money back.

Yes, my previous experiences with them have all been positive, which is why I did not press further for a refund. Tina in customer service is on the ball!

Sounds like they’re doing the right thing. I’m sure it’ll be alright on the night.

I've noticed they all appear to be struggling with stock as well.
I ordered an RF 85mm 1.2 from E-Infinity and received a confirmation, then a few days later I got an email to say the lens was faulty and it was the last one they had.
Since then I've noticed most RF lenses are out of stock.

Ive had that excuse as well.

On a couple of occasions recently, packages I’ve sent RMSD have not been delivered on the next day. I’ve claimed the cost back from Royal Mail without any problem - just thought it was worth a mention.

Thanks, it finally arrived today, 5 days since posting, and I have submitted a claim :)

My camera left HK on Saturday morning. Tracked the actual flight via Dubai then Cologne, where it is now resting. UPS are currently advising of delivery Monday (tomorrow) after 10:45 and before 14:45.

Ive had that excuse as well.

Me too it’s one they use way too often.

Complete nonsense of course. They seem to use it when they can’t source the product and make enough profit to make it worth there while selling it. You usually find when they use this excuse that when the item comes back into stock it’s at a higher price.

Panamoz I trust 100% e-infinity have proved themselves liars on many occasions.

Mine came yesterday. Today Panamoz emailed me to check that everything was OK and to make sure the compensation they had offered was in my bank. UK retailers could learn a lot about customer service from them.

Agreed, they are a class act for sure.

I ordered a Sony 100-400 G Master lens and it came pretty quickly to be honest. They originally quoted me 10 working days but it must have come in only 3 days.

I've just had tremendous service from Panamoz.

Wow, that is good. I thought I did well - I ordered on the Tuesday (first day open after Chinese New Year) and it was in my hands at 0830 on the following Monday. I only wish Hermes could bring me my Amazon deliveries as fast . . .

Ordered a camera on the 20th last month and it arrived on the 24th, couldn't believe it.
It was Hong Kong, China, Germany, Belgium, England and finally N.Ireland. Great service and prices.

I also had an amazing delivery time - ordered on the 23rd November, and it was due to arrive on the 25th. I think I was the last delivery of the day and they were too busy, so the courier took it back over to the mainland. I was slightly concerned as the tracking said there was no-one at the premises. To my relief he delivered first thing the next morning. I couldn't believe how fast it was.

Looked on the website on Sunday, quoting 7-10 days for delivery, ordered something Monday, delivery expectation has just gone up to 10-15 days  not sure I would of bothered if I knew, not heard anything from them apart from they are processing my order, I'm guessing they are probably waiting for a certain amount of orders before their courier picks up. I guess now that we have left the EU that may have some bearing as they are trying to screw us at every opportunity now, I hope it's not longer than 2 weeks.

Panamoz told me that it would probably be 7-14 working days due to Covid delays. However, as I said; they managed it in six days. :D

I'd not worry too much yet - their site says that due to holidays nothing ordered now will be processed until Friday the 5th of March, so maybe you got your order in just before they added that note to the front page.
