Palma holiday snaps (Pixel Pro 10 XL test)

I was wanting a smaller camera for holiday snaps and was so close to getting a FujiFilm X100VI which I can't afford and can't find in stock.

Decided to go against every single atom in my body and try using my mobile.

Glad I did as I've had a lot of fun not taking it as seriously as I would when using the kit bag

Great to see you back on TP Gary, I remember following avidly your path to running a successful photography business.

These are great pictures, makes me wonder why I would bother to carry round a bag full of FF DSLR and lenses, I'm guessing this was quite an expensive phone??

Been back a few times but don't invest a huge amount of time here as most of the old faces seem to have moved on.

I lease the phone for about £35 a month I think. It's got a good reputation for the camera but it's not enjoyable using any phone for photography in terms of ergonomics I feel. it's great to be able to instantly see the results and edit in lightroom though.

Still absolutely love a good solid Nikon camera

Looks like you had a great time (MOST important!) and sounds like YOU are happy with the shots you got, even if you didn't enjoy the taking process as much as you would have had you been using a Nikon.

Cheers - deffo liked the photography and the results but the quality of the files is abysmal in comparison to the Z8 and premium glass. Still, it's a phone so shouldn't complain too much
