Pale skin and vivid colours?

I'm trying to get an effect like these photos:

Porcelain doll-like almost, but the other colours are still quite vivid. Any ideas?

Make up and a girl with a pale complexion.

You could easily selectively lower the saturation / up the exposure on the skin as well if you wanted to.

Drop the reds/magenta/orange/yellow tones' saturation (depends on the image) and then mask that out around the lips and everything that has those tones in that isn't skin. A pale model will help obviously.
