Painting using the Smudge Tool

These were all done in Photoshop using the smudge tool alternating between normal, dark and lighten together with adjusting the opacity. I t did take some practice but I found it quite adictive. Please feel free to share your thoughts and any tips.

Interesting effects!
I have to admit that the smudge tool is a tool Ive shied away from in PS.
