Looking for some permanent (battery and solar or USB) or motion triggered lighting for night time wildlife photography and videography.

Shooting with Sony a1 for now. Maybe a7iv or a7rv as backup.

Would rather not have flicker. Would rather not be terribly invasive or intrusive to animal behaviour.

Any suggestions? Ta

It would normally be flash that was used if you were looking at stills. I bought a few units from ebay made by Cognisys. They have various triggers using different systems. I also own a Miops mentioned above which can be triggered using a laser of my noise. I've not actually put any of these to use but next time I am away somewhere remote I will try a wee bit of camera trapping

Hi

A few years back I was a memebr of a camera club. I'm still in contact with quite a few of the members. One of the members set up a Youtube channel centered around wildlife photography. I think he first got intrested in that genre through observing some Badgers that were local to him. He really got into wildlife photography after that. He's a great guy on and off camera. There maybe some info in these two videos for you. His channel may have more I don't know.

Hope it helps.
