he was a police trained driver I guess as he had a police dog vehicle.
 
Everyone makes mistakes, why would that make someone else happy???

But perhaps not trained to Class 1 traffic pursuit level?

But whatever the level of training, accidents can and do happen........from your OP, it seems it was a 'no other vehicles involved ' incident.

By the logic of this, you (realspeed) would also be amused by ambulance drivers crashing, fire engine drivers crashing...or is it just the Police that you have a downer on?

Police are under a lot of pressure. They deserve respect where it is due and, they shouldnt be ridiculed or laughed at because of being human and making mistakes.

I know, there are good and bad in all walks of life. Doesnt mean we should laugh at others misfortunes.

There used to be one, but far too many people were using it, as a "Weapon" and to gang up on others.
It was removed.

neighbour 2 doors down is a police sargent was in dogs section now indoors based and guess what? yep crashed his own BMW and now a right off. now why would that make me smile I wonder???

Oh sorry Cobra, by no means was that a kneejerk request, more a way to express my sadness at finding that when in my (admittedly brief) time on this forum it's seemed a brilliant and respectful community.
