Some results from an M42 28mm OSAWA lens that I've borrowing.

Loaded some Rollei Retro 100 in the Mamiya MSX 1000 and went walkabout:

I just bought a few more rolls of B and W film for a holiday in two weeks time :-)

looking good there.

Cheers Paul,

I'm quite pleased at how the lens performed tbh particularly wide open.

Be sure to shoot plenty whilst on your jollies and of course post em!

You'll be taking the FG then I guess??

Good results.....my choice is #4 and played with it in PS and to me seemed better after reducing gamma and a touch of sharpening, which also gave it a bit more "pop".

Well Asha what do you reckon on how I like it

Yep quite nice that Brian ..... these are pretty much straight out of the scanner with just a tiny bit of sharpening to compensate so there's plenty of messing can be done in pp to pull em out more.....perhaps you wish to do the rest of em for me! lol

Yes absolutely, i surprised myself today by popping gently the focusing screen out and blew some small particles out, all looking lovely, just eying also a 28mm Series E lens myself for the FG :D

I'm really a colour man, and would think the back ground of green hills etc would make the castle walls pop even more ;)
