Opinions on new website

I'm not sure if this is where I should post, I could've sworn I saw a "Hey look! I have a new website!" section at some point, but I couldn't find it so sorry.

But yes, I have a relatively new website - I'm trying to make it a little more commercially acceptable than my previous ones. Anyone who has seen my work will know that I shoot a lot of tattooed and pierced chicks and loud, noisy bands - however, I'm aiming for businesses now so the old look needed to go.

At the moment the text is very minimal, and I think I like it that way but I would always appreciate any input. It's basically just a place to send people to look at my work. Does having lengthy explanations of everything, prices etc. help? Most of my pricing is very much tailored to each person's ideas, so it doesn't make much sense to me to include prices.

Anyway, general thoughts would be much appreciated :)
 
first impression is that it can take a little while to preload the images, even on the 50mb fibre at work.

contact page is rammed up against the left margin (on FF).

otherwise you say its minimal and id agree, youre not really selling yourself in my eyes.
 
I also notice about the preloading images, and im using a 100mb connection (So may be down to the website host, location, load etc)

One thing that does bug me a little (but its probably just me), is the fact that you have to scroll down to be able to see the full picture, i use laptops mostly so obviously this is exaggerated by this, on a normal monitor its fine.

Yes its minimal and i like minimal, but i think its a little too minimal... There isn't even an "About Us/Me" page (i know there is a little bit on the contact page) and the Contact page is also rammed up against the left margin in IE9
 
I love the look but I agree with everyone else loading time is far too long I could have been to the shop and back!
 
Thanks for the help, I think we're going to sort the contact page soon as it's bugging me too. I hadn't realised how bad the loading time was, and I'll have a think about trying to put something together for an about page - I hate writing those things - thank you all for the input :)
