Opinions on Affinity please

Just wondering who is using Affinity and what you think about it, is it worth having, not comparable to Photoshop CC I'm guessing, but it's on sale for £30 at the moment so I was wondering is it worth a punt. Thanks in advance
 
Lots and lots of people think that it's great, if it had any form of decent file management I'd probably switch from Adobe.
 
I bought it (also when they had an offer). I have CC as well so also have PS.

I don't use infinity all the time but there are certain thing I find it does better that PS e.g. the in painting tool.
For the sake of £30 it's another tool that's very capable and the benefit of free updates for life.
 
I've used it... I own it. It's a good photo editor, but it can't do the really advanced stuff PS can. And it's not good enough to make me want to use it instead of LR for basic edits, so I've never even become fully comfortable with it.
 
Thanks for the prompt replies guys, I had the beta version but never really looked at it to be honest, also had a corel program years ago which looks similar, never used that either,lol, I may take a punt, I recently purchased the Phlearn 101-301 as although I'm ok with photoshop, I thought I may have picked up some bad habits along the way of learning being pretty much self taught, it was quite an eye opener learning to do things more efficiently and making the workflow faster, still in 2 minds about purchasing Affinity, it's only £10 more when not on sale I think
 
I own it but have only really played with it briefly. Don't quite get the whole "persona" bit, particularly when editing raw files. As such haven't found much need leave Adobe's LR/PS ecosystem but perhaps I should give it more time.
