I've got a lot of Aperture libraries that were backed up onto external hard drives - and I need to open them in my current version on my macbook. However I get the message saying that

t"he library could not be imported because it is from an out of date version of Aperture 3. Please upgrade the library to the latest version of Aperture 3 and try again."

I'm guessing this is because ibvsouly back then, I was on an older Aperture version, and now I'm on the latest.. but how do I upgrade it? I've done the usual repair, rebuild etc option when starting it up, but as far as I can see there;s no option to upgrade an old library.. Its a proper pain, need to access some images and they're all locked away in it, and going through the Master's would be an utter nightmare!

Any help appreciated muchly!

Lawrence, I think you would get a better response asking the question on the Apple Support site.
