Oo-er, I seem to have won a TLR on Fleabay!

Good choice. Maybe exercise the shutter a bit throughout the speeds before putting film in it...then enjoy! Probably better not to trust the light meter - even if it appears functional it's probably not accurate. But these have a cracking lens and you should get great results. Good luck!

That looks a very clean camera, all good advice above. Enjoy and post. :)

Also what a great price you got that for a Bargain

Decent price, and the description looks quite promising. My first TLR was a Yashica, and I think they are a fantastic entry to the world of medium format.

Cheers all. Going to be lurking round Brighton at the weekend with this beauty (if it arrives this week). 56 quid + postage btw for those itching to know..

Off to source some 120 film....

looks very pretty that I am constantly tickled by TLR's as they look like a very cool compact solution indeed.

The fixed lens TLRs like the Yashica, and the Rolleiflexes and Rolleicords are compact. My Rolleicord is my favourite medium format camera to carry. The Mamiya C3, C33 and C330 though are quite a bit larger and heavier.

Steve.

I would happily add one of them to my collection.
I am focusing on my RB67 this year but soon.........

I had a Rolleicord, loved it, I have a Rolleiflex, love it, I have a Mamiya C330f and numerous lenses, really, really love it. But the Cord and Flex are superb, compact and lightweight, the Mamiya is not.

and of course you are a convicted TLR murderer @Andysnap .but we'ill
not mention that ,,,,,,,,doh

Quiet you fool...... no one knows about poor old Yash Mat and his, ahem, accidental plunge from the cliffs.

TLRs are my favourite type of camera to use. I think they're also the most beautiful to look at by far, and look great being carried around or even sat on a shelf if they no longer work.

I have a C220 and it's awesome but a bit bulky to carry around all the time. I also have a Yashica E which looks nice but doesn't work (not sure what's wrong with it though lol). I've been trying to resist getting another TLR for the last few months but I think I'm fighting a losing battle

£56 really is a great price :) Looking forward to seeing some photos from it soon :D

Thanks all. Sunny 16 rule until I get a meter. Will post up pics soon, promise!

Welcome to the Yash Mat club. I bought mine for £79 new! But that was in 1982. When houses in the south cost £20k.
