This may seem a little strange, but who do you trust when buying stuff online? I have used various supermarkets and my wife and I have bought clothes and trainers online without any problems. We usually buy large containers of washing liquid (Fairy non bio) around 2l in size. So, has anyone used the following - Myshop.co.uk ?

Not used then but some thoughts having looked......

In general I shy away from 'unknowns' like that but YMMV

Having said that the holding company "BrandSaver (UK) Limited" have been trading since 2013 (according to Companies House).

So, with something like detergents if you can be sure & happy they are 'pucker' then maybe worth a try

Brand names were introduced as a form of "guarantee" .

It's really unfortunate that good products are now so often counterfeited that you can no longer put your trust in the brand, especially when buying via the internet. It's more than ever the case that, if something seems too good to be true, let someone else have the bargain.

Very strange that when I searched for - brandsaver uk ltd - the search result was this. It has Myshop in the top left corner.

I buy quite a number of things online but never personal body products. Afer buying some Head and "below the head" shampoo on Amazon which irritiated my scalp, I stick to the local chemist for such things. I had used the same product for quite a while so I knew it was faulty.

I read somewhere that these type of products from cheap chains are also susceptible to fraudulent supplies.

I've bought a lot off Aliexpress recently and whilst the quality is hit and miss and I've even received counterfeit goods (which went straight back) the service has been excellent and the return and refund process has been a lot easier than with Amazon and ebay, painless really. They also have a really nice feature which shows you identical and similar items so you can see if there's a cheaper option from another seller.

Off subject a bit ,but there is an increasing amount of returns and discontinued warehouses opening up locally selling items from Amazon/temu/ alibaba etc at silly prices .. had some really good bargain buys over the last year and most items are around 10% of normal prices ..you just add vat at checkout ..
