Hi all,
I recently joined this forum as I am a returnee to the world of photography. As such, I am in need of some advice.

I was recently asked to cover (voluntarily) a local fun run and village fete in my village. I took over 1k images of the runners and approx 300 photos of the fete. Since then I have had quite a few enquiries as to how people may obtain prints. This is something new to me. I have only ever used Snapfish for my own personal photos. However I think I need to use a more professional outfit if I am to supply people with prints. I don't even know how much one should charge for this service - if I were to make a profit from this, all profits would be given to the charity for which the fun run and fete were organised.

So I am looking for recommendations for photolabs / online printing services and any advice on what I should charge for the finished product.

Many thanks.

Depends what you are looking for. Fine art prints or cheaper digital c-types. As for costing you just need to work out your costs and add a markup that you feel is acceptable.
