hi,

I have recently done a wedding shoot and wish to show image proofs on the internet for the guests to view and hopefully order.
Can anyone reccomend a good online gallery, and also if there is a contact panel on there for them to contact me direct from the gallery site rather than having to write a separate e-mail. (free one would be nice)

If you want a decent website with a decent ordering and contact system then I suspect you'll have to pay for one. Check out my website in my signature below which is through Photium. I think the basic package is £7.99 a month and you are allowed about 1,000 photos on there. You can specify prices for each gallery and different print sizes. There is also a contact page or you are able to create a custom page to include a contact sheet (as I've done on my wedding page).

if your after a free solution Gallery 2 with paypal plugin isn't bad. You will need to pay for hosting though. Else as Rob says you'll have to pay for a gallery

it's all pay pay pay

you can go on photobox, if the prints are good enough for you.
a pro gallery has no upfront costs
you can put a big (C) over the images
they will charge what you wish for the prints
you can password the gallery
people can order mouse mats, mugs etc as well as prints
they handle everything and take 10% of the net after the costs of printing
I think they remunerate you via paypal nowadays too
