Hi

I'm looking for someone to help my daughter with her photoshop skills. Despite being at university she hasn't really been taught much more than the basics. I was going to try and help her myself but I have so many bad habits that I've picked up over the years I though it wasn't sensible.

Does anyone have any recommendations or experience of the links below?

These are some I found online:

(Although the retouched image on that section looks horrible)

Years ago my work sent me on a few of these type courses and they were all pretty rubbish, and very expensive. It always amazes me how much these people claim they can teach in a fairly short space of time.

IMO You'd be better off signing her up to lynda.com for £20 a month, you'll learn more, in your own time, and you can start and stop when you like.

Thanks, whilst that's not a bad idea I suspect that she lacks sufficient motivation to work online in her own time with this sort of service. I'm thinking that a tailored one to one training would be the best option. I run my own design business so I can write this off as a business expense probably.
